On Sukkot, I made our favorite mushroom casserole.
This time I have a form for casserole was a bit smaller than normal, and the remainder of the test I took a few more mini-casseroles.
And so, we need:
For the test :
2 cups of flour
170 ml sour cream
75 gr. butter or margarine
pinch of salt
For the filling:
2 tbsp butter or margarine
2 large onions
500g chopped or canned mushrooms
5 tbsp of milk
2 tbsp mushroom soup powder
3 eggs
170 ml sour cream
200g grated hard cheese
salt and pepper to taste
round baking
Knead dough. Cool it in the refrigerator for 20 minutes.
Sliced onion half rings fried in butter until golden brown, add the mushrooms, milk, soup powder, mix everything and cook another 3 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. We spread the mushroom filling on dough.
Beat eggs, sour cream and grated cheese. We spread this mixture gently on the filling. Bake in a preheated 180 degree oven for 50 minutes or until done.
